So what makes Red Rose Cars different?
Well to start with we are a proper "old school" garage. We know cars inside out and we run as a small family business where everyone has a face, and a name, and cares about what we do. This brings considerable benefits:
- We put a lot of knowhow into what we buy. We will only buy a car for resale if we are convinced it is a good one, have checked on HPi for accident history, outstanding finance, police record etc. and then done due diligence to check that the recorded mileage is genuine. We then put that car through our own workshop, service it, MOT it and put right anything that we can find wrong with it. When the car is finally put up for sale it will have been thoroughly prepared and presented to be as good as we can make it.
- We don’t employ sales people so you wont get pounced on and "sold" a car. You will be dealing with the proprietor, the mechanic, the valeter, the driver, whoever is on site and free to talk to you. They will be busily going about their day to day tasks, but immediately available to talk to you and give you as much information as you need. Every one of these people will have had a hand in the preparation of the cars, have real knowledge about the car and will try to answer your questions fairly and honestly. If we don’t know the answer straightaway, we will know how to get the answer.
We deliberately sell "affordable" cars. Our price range is typically £1000 to £4000 which is a hugely popular and in great demand, but can be minefield of bad cars, dodgy dealers and unscrupulous business practice. Yet we have flourished in this business for many years selling large numbers of cars through local reputation, word of mouth and competitive, realistic pricing for good quality cars. For our customers this means:
- We will prepare an "affordable" budget car to the same standard as the bigger, more upmarket dealerships you will see operating from glass and chrome palaces. Being "affordable" does not become an excuse for poor preparation. Our cars will be scrupulously clean and tidy, accurately described and photographed on our website and not in need of major work when you arrive to take a closer look. They should be ready to go.
- We cannot turn a car costing £2000 into a new car, but we can make sure it as good as we can make it for the money. We genuinely believe that our cars represent the best value for money there is in our chosen price segment. Come along and judge for yourself, we think you will agree
